Situation:

The University of Toronto faced a formidable challenge: achieving an ambitious fundraising goal while uniting a diverse community of colleges, faculties, and donors, each with unique agendas and priorities. Bridging these divides and inspiring collective action required a shared vision that could resonate with everyone.

Solution:

We chose to break down barriers by embracing the concept of "Boundless." This single, powerful word captured the essence of U of T’s identity—an institution where thought leaders continuously push limits, defy conventions, and redefine what’s possible. Through compelling stories and examples of their world-changing achievements, we showcased the wide-ranging expertise and groundbreaking contributions that define the university. This focus on faculty excellence emphasized U of T’s unique environment, inspiring confidence in its ability to shape a limitless future.

Results:

More than 104,000 donors from nearly 100 countries came together to give an historic $2.641 billion, setting a new record for Canadian philanthropy.
